FRI  We set off this morning and head northwards. On the way, we visit Trentham Shopping Village, where you can enjoy a relaxed experience at this unique outdoor retail village. Browse a mix of popular high street brands and independent stores, or take a break in one of the cosy cafes or onsite restaurants. We then continue our journey arriving in the late afternoon at the Best Western Plus Pinewood Hotel for our two night stay. 

SAT  This morning, we travel to the Trafford Centre, a large indoor shopping and leisure complex and home to many restaurants where you can enjoy lunch. If retail therapy is not your thing, you may wish to visit the nearby Manchester Sea Life Centre and see the stunning marine habitats and displays.

This afternoon we head to the ITV Studios for an exclusive 90-minute guided tour of Coronation Street’s real, working Manchester set – it’s the world’s largest single TV production set, and there’s nowhere quite like it. Led by the expert guides, you’ll walk the iconic cobbles, uncovering behind-the-scenes secrets and visiting legendary locations like the Rovers Return, The Kabin, Roy’s Rolls and more…all while discovering the stories that have made Coronation Street the nation’s favourite soap for over six decades. Your visit starts with a cinematic celebration of over 65 years of unforgettable Corrie moments. You then stroll Weatherfield’s exterior set, including The Rovers Return, Roy’s Rolls, The Kabin, Police Station, and more. Pose outside iconic locations like the Underworld, Webster’s Garage, and other recognisable spots and step behind the bar in The Rovers replica set and ring the original bell! During your visit, you can explore the exhibition which features replica sets, original costumes, and props – including Deirdre Barlow’s famous glasses. We then head back to our hotel for dinner.

SUN  We head off after this morning’s breakfast and make our way back home. En route, we visit the historic market town of Warwick where you have time to explore and have lunch before we continue our journey, arriving back in the local area in the early evening.
