WED After an early start this morning, we head to Dover for our ferry crossing to France, before continuing on to our overnight accommodation in Reims, arriving in time for dinner.

THU After breakfast this morning we head to Mumm Champagne for a guided tour and tasting. Discover how Georges Hermann Mumm was responsible for creating the famous red ribbon, a symbol of quality since 1876. The tour of the cellars is followed by a tasting of Mumm Cordon Rouge. We then make our way to our second overnight stop in Sausheim.

FRI We complete our journey today, travelling through Switzerland’s stunning scenery, arriving in lovely Lake Molveno and the excellent Hotel Alle Dolomiti in time for dinner.

SAT We travel to beautiful Bolzano today, which shows its Austrian history in the architecture, scenery and even the language. Enjoy time to see the cathedral, pretty piazzas and perhaps visit the museum, home to the 5,300 year old body of ‘Otzi the Iceman’.

SUN Enjoy a free day to explore the town, relax by the lake or take a swim in the hotel pool. Your included Dolomiti card gives you free travel on local buses, entrance to museums and reductions on attractions. Maybe take the stunning cable car ride up from Molveno to the panoramic terrace 1350 metres above the lake, where you can savour the view!

MON Take a journey south through the ancient Tenno Valley to Riva del Garda. Explore the history of this area by visiting Rocca di Riva, home of the Museo dell’Alto Garda. Maybe enjoy a gelato by Lake Garda or take a boat ride to Limone for a water’s eye view.

TUE The Italian Dolomites are a breathtaking mountain range of dramatic peaks, and no visit would be complete without a scenic drive through the stunning scenery, passing medieval villages and lush pastures. We head to historic Trento and then board the local
‘Castles Train’ from Trento to Male for a unique view of the picture perfect scenery.

WED We begin our homeward journey after breakfast, stopping in Forbach overnight.

THU We make our way to Calais this morning, for the return ferry crossing and home.
