TUE  We head to the Port of Dover this morning, where we board the ferry for the crossing to Calais. We then continue our journey to Paris, with comfort stops en route, and board our ‘floating hotel’ at its mooring point near the Eiffel Tower. You will then have time to settle in to your comfortable cabin, which has en-suite facilities and a walk in shower. Head to the on-board restaurant where the ship’s crew will be introduced to you at a welcome cocktail reception. After this evening’s dinner, enjoy a traditional evening of entertainment with a ‘Titi Parisien’ theme.

WED This morning we take a panoramic guided tour by coach of the French capital. You will discover the most spectacular sights of this magnificent city, including the Champs-Elysées, Palais Garnier, Notre-Dame Cathedral, Left Bank and Eiffel Tower, with information and commentary provided by your knowledgeable guide. Having familiarised yourself with the city, this afternoon you will be free to explore this magnificent metropolis at your leisure. This evening, we enjoy a gala evening and dinner. Depending on the water level of the river, we may also cruise to the business district of La Défense during the course of the evening before returning to our quay in Paris.

THU  Experience a guided tour of the old Montmartre today. Located at the very heart of a 19th century village, the Sacré-Coeur Basilica has remained one of the favourite models of all time for painters, sculptors and poets alike. The Basilica provides a breathtaking view of the city, and Montmartre, with its cobblestone streets, sidewalk cafés and cabarets is authentic Paris straight out of the 19th century. Enjoy some free time in Paris this afternoon. Since we are docked just a few minutes’ walk from the Eiffel Tower and the Trocadéro gardens, and the Invalides is just a little further away, it is easy to visit the attractions at your leisure. This evening we set out on a cruise through Paris by night (water level permitting), floating through the beautifully illuminated city, which is particularly attractive when viewed from our vantage point on the Seine.

FRI  We disembark this morning after our buffet breakfast, then board our coach and head to the port in Calais for our short ferry crossing. We aim to arrive back home in the early evening.
