DAY 1 We set off this morning and, with a comfort stop en route, make our way to Warwick with time to enjoy lunch and explore this historic town. We then continue the short journey to our hotel, with time to settle in before dinner, followed by this evening’s top-class entertainment. Studley Castle Hotel is one of Warner’s newest properties, located within a beautiful castle boasting modern facilities in rural Warwickshire. Enjoy a delicious evening meal in the Evesham Restaurant before the dancing and live entertainment each evening. Leisure facilities include an in-house cinema, indoor pool, sauna and steam room.
DAY 2 This morning is free for you to explore the hotel’s facilities such as the spa and swimming pool or try your hand at archery, take a stroll in the grounds, or just find a quiet corner to snuggle down and relax with a good book! Join us this afternoon, if you wish, for an excursion to the nearby historic city of Worcester, with time at leisure to perhaps visit the Porcelain Museum or the Cathedral, which overlooks the River Severn, where you will find the tomb of King John. Dinner this evening will be followed by more excellent entertainment.
DAY 3 After breakfast this morning you can join us as we make the short journey to Stratford-upon-Avon with its magnificent Tudor buildings. Home of the world’s most famous playwright, William Shakespeare, you may like to visit his childhood home or enjoy a gentle boat trip along the banks of the River Avon. Holy Trinity Church is a short walk from the centre where you will find the graves of Shakespeare and members of his family. The town centre is full of interesting shops and many restaurants and cafés to enjoy lunch. We return to our resort with the remainder of the afternoon free to make use of the facilities or relax before dinner and another evening of top-class entertainment.
DAY 4 This morning we set off for Royal Leamington Spa, a delightful town set on the winding River Leam, known for its Regency architecture and broad boulevards. You may wish to spend time exploring the Royal Pump Rooms with its on-site art gallery and museum, or perhaps explore the formal Victorian park of Jephson Gardens. We then head back for our final evening of mouth-watering food and fantastic entertainment at the hotel.
DAY 5 After breakfast, we leave our hotel and make our way to Cheltenham for a chance to explore and have lunch before we complete our journey home.
